Event marketing and developing sponsor partnerships
Pulp and Valio have been event marketing and promotion partners since 2008. A significant theme in event marketing during early 2017 was the Lahti World Championships, where Valio served as the national partner. Valio's mission is to inspire families to be active together and stay healthy. At the end of 2016, Valio, together with Pulp and Hasan & Partners, launched the "Get on the Trail" campaign, which included a physical event tour and a mobile outdoor challenge.
During the event tour, attendees had the chance to challenge Valio Academy's godmother and national team skier Kerttu Niskanen in a 20-meter sprint challenge. In the "Suksi ladulle" outdoor challenge, consumers had the opportunity to participate in searching for golden tickets hidden in beautiful outdoor locations across Finland, with a chance to win amazing prizes. In addition to the activities, the "Suksi ladulle" tour provided clients with warm Valio Plus cocoa.
