The year of the coronavirus had been challenging in every way for both LähiTapiola, their staff, and the whole world. The work methods changed, and the work community couldn't see each other routinely. LähiTapiola wanted to thank all the employees and their families members by organizing an entertaining virtual event.
We set the bar high by pulling the best elements of the most successful entertainment and television formats and tailoring the content to fully reflect LähiTapiola and its people. We created an engaging virtual event concept called the Courage and Love Show that reflects LähiTapiola's core values: passion, care, and courage. Performances that do not require acting talent, such as competitions, would only involve LähiTapiola's own staff. The concept was brought to life by Jarkko Tamminen and Niina Lahtinen, who designed and scripted the Courage and Love Show into a one-and-a-half-hour entertainment medley. Niina and Jarkko were accompanied by well-known actors Dennis Nylund and Joonas Nordman, who also hosted the entire event. The show featured an just the right amount of music throughout the performance, but there was something even more stunning to be seen as Antti Tuisku returned from a long break and performed twice with his band. Everyone in the audience could see Antti was overjoyed to perform again after such a long absence. The always entertaining Court Musician Ilkka performed a song written specifically for the people of LähiTapiola.
The event's chat was filled with overwhelmingly enthusiastic feedback throughout the program stream. According to both the event crew and the staff of LähiTapiola, the Courage & Love Show was an unforgettable experience. That is true. We were on the brink of something magical for a moment. Thank you to LähiTapiola and its people. The show was nothing short of a wonderful collaboration.
