The #yhdessäpöydässä campaign for Valio, carried out together with the advertising agency Bob the Robot, started in the spring of 2017. Valio is a well-known and trusted brand. Now, they wanted to make it beloved as well. The purpose was to address a large and critical issue for customers that could not be solved simply words but rather through tangible actions. The development of technology has brought people together, but at the same time, it has alienated us from one another. We feel lonelier than before. The majority of Finns would like to eat more frequently with family and friends.
Our task was to come up with an event concept that would bring people together to a common table. The campaign began to take shape with searching for and restoring old, abandoned dining tables. Restored dining tables were taken to unique locations in Finland, where consumers had the chance to win a memorable summer breakfast at the table with friends and family. The competitions were held on Facebook, where participants shared with Valio who they would like to have a joint breakfast with and why. The prize breakfasts were held during July. The competition posts reached a total of 2 million on Facebook, and there were over 3000 entries in total.
Pulp was responsible for the event concept as well as the planning and production of the events.
